UCHealth or University of Colorado Hospital is part of the University of Colorado Health System and is the principal teaching hospital for the University of Colorado School of Medicine, located in Aurora, Colorado.
The Problem
Annually, UCHealth releases a cancer care report sharing new breakthroughs in research, technology, advancements, and featuring recent statistics, as well as patient success stories. Generally, the report is provided in a digital PDF format that is distributed across their marketing channels. This year the marketing department at UCHealth wanted to build a complimentary landing page that served as an interactive overview of the topics covered in the report. Additionally, they wanted this new page to be creatively interactive in a way that would captivate viewers with a slick presentation style.
The Solution
Working with the rest of the marketing team we developed a unique landing page experience that was a departure from the usual health care informational site page. The page was developed as a custom WordPress theme template featuring an animating logo on page load, and scrolling animations that fade and fly in and out with information as the user scrolls to each main section. Also included on the page was a video presentation from the Executive Director of University of Colorado cancer center where he covers information about new locations and some recent updates. Following the video is a PDF version of the annual report to view or download.
