Eagle Eye Construction, Inc

Eagle Eye Construction, Inc. is a family owned, multi-service general contractor based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Problem

Eagle Eye Construction, Inc. began as a small business that needed a new brand identity. The goal of the new logo design was to convey a level of detail and quality of work involved that customers would come to recognize and associate with the branding.

The Solution

I designed a logo that was clean and straight to the point with an illustrated silhouette of an American bald eagle and a colorized yellow eye that draws attention and compliments the conceptual name of the business. The logo aesthetic features sharply curved edges that are balanced with the fine details and shapes, communicating a level of professionalism and quality of work, coupled with a bold display sans-serif font that is clearly legible at a distance. The eagle also serves as a nod and acknowledgment of American military veteran ownership and operation.

New Interiors Remodeling Website

The Problem

New Interiors Remodeling is a business located in Manteca, California, specializing in Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling. The owner, David Johnson contacted me to redesign his website in a way that would help showcase his kitchen and bathroom remodels better and drive new customers with easily accessible contact forms and information.

The Solution

I custom designed and developed a custom WordPress template with a modern look that featured some of the most stunning kitchen and bathroom transformations with a large parallax hero slider, information about the company and his two main services. The two main services Kitchen Remodels and Bathroom Remodels lead to respective pages and separate galleries for viewers to browse based on their interests. A quick contact form is also included on the home page as well as a more detailed contact form on the contact page. The two galleries have thumbnails that once clicked, expand to reveal an images slideshow. For most projects, the slideshows display progressive before, during and after stages of the remodels and also have optional description areas.

Tulsa Port of Catoosa Pint Glass

The Tulsa Port of Catoosa is Oklahoma’s premier inland river port, multi-modal shipping complex, and 2,000-acre industrial park.

The Problem

The port planned to have a dock dedication event where they wanted to share promotional items with various business partners and clients. The directors wished to have a custom illustrative logo that depicted the port and a shipping vessel in a creative way that could be printed on pint beer glasses and would be provided at the event.

The Solution

Using many differing angled photos and top-down imagery of the site, I was able to craft a detailed vectorized illustrative logo within a circular shape that contained the name of the port and the date of the dock dedication event. This logo was then printed on the pint beer glasses for the event.

High Sierra Naturals

High Sierra Naturals is a family-owned cultivation facility located in Trinidad, Colorado.

The Problem

High Sierra Naturals started as a new business when I was contacted by them. They were looking for a fresh logo that would complement the nature of their business – bulk sales and distribution of cannabis plants for legal sale in the state of Colorado. The new logo also needed to look great on advertisement collateral such as t-shirts and coffee mugs.

The Solution

I designed a modern rough organic logo that illustrates the love of the states higher elevations as well as indicates subtly the cultivation facilities primary product.

Rancho Cortez Rack Card

The Problem

I was approached by a longtime client of mine to design a rack card that would be printed and placed in various hotels to advertise the services for a local dude ranch located near Bandera, Texas.

The Solution

I designed a print rack card that featured imagery and information about their services featuring day trips and horseback rides, guided hiking and a custom map that showed the relative location of the dude ranch in relation to the nearby town of Bandera for visitors.

Rancho Cortez Web Design & Development

The Problem

Mary at Rancho Cortez contacted me to make updates to their original website. Originally, it was a hand-coded static HTML website with over 50+ pages of content. The original site lacked any content management system and all updates had to be hand-coded by a developer for even the tiniest text update. Soon I recommended a fresh and more modern site design that would be developed with the popular WordPress site administration and content management system. The owners agreed the old site needed to be redesigned and asked me to come up with something new and more accessible to owners and staff to make regular updates and changes.

The Solution

I designed and developed a brand new custom WordPress theme that allows for easy site administration and updates, stylized with a western look and feel, that compliments the dude ranch experience. The three main pages have a silent background video preview in the hero area that features beautiful flyovers of the Texas hill country ranch and visually communicates many of the activities and experiences the dude ranch provides related to each page. Additionally, two of the main activities pages have fully playable popup videos users can click to view, within the hero areas via play buttons if the user desires to see and hear more about the ranch in full video and audio. Everything from horseback rides, to campfire smores, tractor driven hayrides and various cabin rentals, are all available at the ranch. The new site design assists in communicating many of the dude ranch experiences that await new and returning visitors from near and far. The ranch operates on annual activity calendars for horseback riding lessons, roping lessons, nature hikes and fitness classes that all require regular updating on the site. All of the content on the site is fully editable and gives the owners the freedom and flexibility to update all of their activity and event information whenever they want.

Regal Cinemas Entertainment Group

The Problem

While employed at a marketing agency we acquired the client Regal Cinemas Entertainment Group in Denver, Colorado. Their marketing director wished to have us design and develop a custom email template that could be used for regular monthly Regal Cinemas Group Insider newsletters that shared information about new and upcoming movies as well as theater locations, Regal Crown Club benefits, Gift Cards and various offers and promotions. They also wanted to have the ability to create and edit newsletters themselves for each of their different sales departments within their Salesforce Marketing Cloud email marketing platform.

The Solution

I custom designed and developed a fully responsive, drag and drop template, within their existing Sales Force Marketing Cloud email marketing platform that allowed for easy creation and administration of new marketing newsletters. These templates included as many content options as possible that could easily be swapped in and out by their marketing team to achieve a different layout every time for every new email. Also included was an animated banner section for animated gifs that displayed related marketing efforts. The layout options can be combined to make virtually an unlimited number of layouts as the marketing department needs. This template has been used for over 3 years now and Regal Cinemas Entertainment Group continues to send newsletters with this simple template design on a regular basis.
